Join a quartet of talented writers at London Quarterly, the capital’s newest literary salon. Held in the beautiful surroundings of The Forge in Camden Town, the first instalment of what we’re dubbing ‘a live version of your favourite literary journal’ is headlined by legendary poet, novelist and filmmaker Iain Sinclair.

The author of numerous important publications including Lud Heat, White Chapell Scarlet Tracings and Hackney, That Rose Red Empire, Iain Sinclair’s latest release is American Smoke: Journeys to the End of the Light (2014). A long-time resident of Hackney, Iain recently celebrated his 70th birthday by curating a season of 70 classic and unusual films. He is also known for skippering a giant fibreglass swan from Hastings to the Olympic Park in East London.

Joining Iain are experimental writer and artist Heather Phillipson (NOT AN ESSAY, Instant-flex 718) and poetic chronicler of Canary Wharf Chimene Suleyman. Tom Bolton, author of London’s Lost Rivers and The Vanished City, completes a metrocentric lineup to delight and provoke.

Books will be available courtesy of Waterstones Camden.
