Penned in the Margins began life on 20 August 2004 at Island Arts Studio, a ramshackle but lovely bar/venue in a converted railway arch in Herne Hill, South London. Until 2006 Penned in the Margins continued to promote poetry and music events at the Studio. Our events featured the following artists – and we’re forever grateful for their support, as well as the venue’s, in getting our humble venture off the ground!
