Patience Agbabi
Patience Agbabi is an acclaimed poet, performer and workshop facilitator. She was born in London in 1965 to Nigerian parents and spent her teenage years living in North Wales. She was educated at Oxford University and has appeared at numerous diverse venues in the UK and abroad. Her most recent collection is Bloodshot Monochrome (Canongate, 2008).
Siddhartha Bose
Siddhartha Bose is a poet and performer based in London. He grew up in India, followed by a seven year stint in the USA. His poetry has been selected for the anthologies City State: New London Poetry (Penned in the Margins, 2009) and Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century (Bloodaxe, 2009). His lyrical style merges storytelling with performance poetry, blending ‘n’ currying influences from free jazz to Shakespeare.
Inua Ellams
Inua Ellams is a poet, performer and graphic artist. His debut book is Thirteen Fairy Negro Tales (Flipped Eye, 2005) and he is also published in Generation Txt (Penned in the Margins, 2006) and City State: New London Poetry (Penned in the Margins, 2009). He is currently touring his acclaimed one-man show, The 14th Tale after its sell-out run at London Word Festival.
