Inspired by the bold new anthology Futures: Poetry of the Greek Crisis<\/em><\/a>, this evening sees poets George Ttoouli<\/strong> and Theodoros Chiotis<\/strong> and poet-playwright Natalie Katsou<\/strong> delve into the archives of The Poetry Library.<\/p>\n

There they uncover influential poems from the Greek canon, and read new work written in response to Greece\u2019s ongoing political and economic collapse.<\/p>\n

Chaired by Tom Chivers of independent publisher Penned in the Margins, this evening of readings in Greek and English and the accompanying discussion explore poetic responses to the crisis in Greece \u2013 and across Europe.<\/p>\n
