She composes speech, choreographs language and juggles with words to create a unique form of theatrical spoken word. She performs internationally and has been featured on Radio 3\u2019s The Verb. She is a regular at The London Word Festival where she recently premiered a new piece \u2018Sushi\u2019 \u2013 perhaps the world\u2019s first poetry\/pole dance! Her current one-woman show, \u2018Opposition, A Little Political Speech Opera\u2019, can be seen at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hannahsilva.co.uk\">http:\/\/www.hannahsilva.co.uk<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/HannahSilvaUK\">http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/HannahSilvaUK<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gemma Seltzer<\/strong> is a London-based writer. She is interested in charting her creative responses to people and places through interactive web-based projects. Tonight she launches her debut book, <em>Speak to Strangers <\/em>(Penned in the Margins):\u00a0one hundred\u00a0hundred-word stories.\u00a0She is also the author of <em>Look up at the Sky<\/em>, an online activity exploring the peace and the pauses in the city. Her fiction has been published in print and online, recently in .Cent Magazine and as part of an exhibition catalogue commissioned by The Photographers\u2019 Gallery and ArtSway. She spoke at the 2009 Venice Biennale about the relationship between\u00a0contemporary art and text. Gemma is working on <em>Ways of Living<\/em>, a novel.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/speaktostrangers.wordpress.com\">http:\/\/speaktostrangers.wordpress.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Underwood<\/strong> was born in Norwich in 1984. He graduated from Norwich School of Art and Design in 2005 and is currently studying towards a PhD in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College, where he also teaches English Literature. He is a librettist, musician and co-edits the anthology series <em>Stop Sharpening Your Knives<\/em>. He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2007 and is a Faber New Poet. He lives in Hackney.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Siddhartha Bose<\/strong> is a poet, playwright and performer based in London. He grew up in Bombay and Calcutta, followed by a seven year itch in the USA. Selections of his work have appeared in the anthologies <a>City State: New London Poetry<\/a> and <em>Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century<\/em>. Bose has recently completed a PhD at Queen Mary, University of London. He is playwright-in-residence with WhynotTheatre, Toronto, and was dubbed one of the \u2018ten rising stars of British poetry\u2019 by <em>The Times<\/em>.
