She is a regular contributor and columnist for&nbsp;The&nbsp;Stage,&nbsp;and has written for titles including&nbsp;The Independent, The Guardian,&nbsp;The Pool, Standart, Exeunt, Brixton Review of Books, New Internationalist, Open Democracy, Run Riot, The Journal of Wild Culture&nbsp;and many more. She regularly appears in the media and at events, usually talking about the power of the arts. She won&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gladstoneslibrary.org\/news\/volume\/revealing-our-2019-writers-and-political-writers-in-residence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gladstone Library<\/a>&#8216;s political writer-in-residence prize 2019&nbsp;and was shortlisted for the 2019 Theatre Book Prize (cruelly pipped to the post by Sir Anthony Sher). In January &amp; February 2020, she was writer-in-residence at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arthouse.je\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arthouse Jersey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"v1gmail-m_7935658723537461823replybody1\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<p>As an arts producer&nbsp;and consultant, she has worked for clients including Pro Helvetia, Barbican and Free Word. She was Executive Director of Camden People&#8217;s Theatre from 2014 &#8211; 2018,&nbsp;where she was selected by the&nbsp;Evening Standard&nbsp;as one of &#8217;18 Women to Inspire the Next Generation&#8217; on International Day of the Girl 2017, and received a Special Achievement Award at the 2018 Off West End Awards in recognition of her work there. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and a graduate of UEA&#8217;s Creative Writing MA.
