The venerable and wise <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetrybooks.co.uk\">Poetry Book Society<\/a> has selected our forthcoming title &#8211; <em>Beowulf<\/em> by Meghan Purvis &#8211; as their Recommended Translation for Summer 2013. This accolade follows last year&#8217;s PBS Special Commendation for our best-selling anthology <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pennedinthemargins.co.uk\/index.php\/2012\/02\/adventures-in-form\/\">Adventures in Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Written across a range of poetic forms and voices, Meghan Purvis&#8217;s vigorous new rendering of the Anglo-Saxon epic poem captures the thrust and gore of battle, the sinister fens and moorlands of Dark Age Denmark, and the treasures and glories of the mead-hall.
