He has published nine collections of poetry, as well as fiction, travel writing and drama. One of the New Generation Poets, he has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize (twice), the TS Eliot (three times) and the Whitbread (twice). <em>The Nerve<\/em> won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, whilst his superb latest collection <em>Hide Now<\/em> was nominated for both the Forward and Eliot Prizes. His plays have been staged in the UK and internationally, including <em>Liberty<\/em> at Shakespeare&#8217;s Globe, <em>Wolfpit<\/em> in Edinburgh and New York, and his reinterpretation of the Jack the Ripper story\u00a0<em>The Only Girl in the World<\/em> at Hoxton Hall and Arcola Theatre. He lives in Islington.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.glynmaxwell.com\/\">http:\/\/www.glynmaxwell.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;His range is vast, his energy unlimited, his temperement restless and risk-taking&#8230;Maxwell looks well on his way to becoming the complete modern English poet&#8221; &#8211; <em>Poetry Review<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Kate Kilalea\u00a0was born in\u00a0South Africa, and moved to\u00a0the UK\u00a0in 2005 to study an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia.\u00a0 She has received an Arts Council Award for poetry, and her poems have appeared in books and journals including PN Review, Stand, Magma, Carapace, Pen Pusher and New Coin. A poem on chairs appeared in Martino Gampera&#8217;s design book, <em>100 Chairs in 100 days and its 100 Ways<\/em>.\u00a0 She lives and works as a journalist in London.
