We are on the lookout for actors to work with us on a scratch performance this Autumn. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the early development of an innovative new work.

Dagestan is an thrilling play by poet and martial artist SJ Fowler, set in the shadowy world of global security. Enter the minds of military contractors to uncover a culture of violence, gallows humour and moral uncertainty.

There are four roles available:

One male actor, playing age 30-45. An intimidating military training instructor.

Two male actors, playing age 20-35. Private military contractors. Must be physically fit and open to some basic martial arts training.

One female actor, playing age 25-35. Works in the office of the military contractor.

Three scratch performances will take place on 16 and 17 October at Rich Mix in East London.

Five days of rehearsals will be scheduled across the first two weeks of October. The fee is £630 (£90 per day including the two performance days).
